McLaren Automotive obtains Trademark Registration for McLaren GT

McLaren Automotive (formerly known as McLaren Cars), the British automaker, which produces sports and luxury cars has applied to trademark its name "McLaren GT" in the U.S. and the UK. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office approved the request last week.

The company’s trademark registrations and specifications of goods

·        MCLAREN GT was filed in respect of retail store services featuring motor land vehicles and it is possible that it may be some kind of storefront that will sell the company’s cars.

·        P1, 650S, 12C Spider, Spider, and Longtail  was filed in respect of motor land vehicles, namely, automobiles, and structural parts therefor.

·        Jaguar Racing was filed in respect of stores selling cars, among other things.

·        McLaren Qualified was filed in respect of retail store services featuring pre-owned vehicles.
