Samsung set to launch messaging app "Uhssup"

GOOD NEWS for users of Samsung products as the chip and Android smartphone giant is working on some sort of location-focused app called Uhssup. This information was retrieved from a trademark application filed in the European Union Intellectual Property Office as the name- Uhssup is to be used in respect of a mobile app “for use in social networking”. The app will display and share user’s location and allow them to interact with others. The application also mentions a provision for “providing content based on location.You may recall that Facebook’s WhatsApp added real-time location tracking as a feature last October, and it is possible that Samsung may be attempting to challenge this popular service and compete.
